Course Description (RMD-Children's Rocky Mountain Trainer Exam MA):

The CRMT Assessment evaluates a candidate's ability to develop and lead a variety of children's clinics at their home resort, including preparation clinics for CS1, CS2, and CRMT. The assessment includes a CRMT Workbook that must be completed prior to attending the on-snow event. For events this season, candidates are required to complete the 2022 - 2023 version of the CRMT Workbook and digitally submit completed Workbooks before meeting on snow.

Candidates will be asked to lead multi-discipline on-snow and indoor/virtual clinics, demonstrate level appropriate children's movement analysis, and lead presentations to advance peer knowledge. Clinic leading assignments will be given from completed CRMT Workbooks and/or from other references. Candidates are expected to clinic lead and present using experiential learning, creative, and movement-based learning activities to share and expand knowledge. CRMT Candidates will also be expected to evaluate peer performance and develop a deeper level of understanding for peers in a clinic environment.

All candidates attending the CRMT Assessment for the first time must attend both days consecutively. The CRMT is a partial pass event. We strongly encourage candidates to review ALL event materials, including the Study Guide, National Standards and the Children's Specialist Performance Guide. All event materials are listed through this link. A successful candidate will pass all sections of the assessment to become a Children's Rocky Mountain Trainer. Please review all CS1, CS2, and CRMT materials prior to attending this event.
