Membership & Certification Information
- Join the Rocky Mountain Division and the PSIA-AASI National Organization by paying the annual dues
- Members without certification are referred to as “Registered Members”
- Membership must be current in order to attend any events through PSIA-AASI Rocky Mountain
- Members can attend events under the age of 16 but will not be awarded any certification until they turn 16

Prerequisites
- PSIA-RM Adaptive Alpine Level 3 Certified
- Current on Dues & Credit Hours
- Attend the Adaptive Alpine Rocky Mountain Trainer Prep Workshop
- Be an employee or volunteer of a recognized ski school or adaptive ski program
- It is strongly suggested that candidates possess:

- Alpine Level 2 certification
- Have at least 25 verifiable hours as a clinic leader.

- Attend and pass the Adaptive Alpine Rocky Mountain Trainer Assessment
- This process valid through the 2023-2024 snowsports season

Adaptive Alpine Level 1 Certification
- Participants must be a current PSIA-AASI member in order to attend events. You can join at this link.
- Complete the following online E-Learning Exams for each Adaptive Module:
- Adaptive Alpine Level 1 Professional Knowledge Exam in the Module you are attending (Bi-Ski/Mono-Ski or Cognitive/VI or3-Track/4-Track

Adaptive Alpine Level 2 Certification
- In order to pass Adaptive Alpine Level 2 Certification, members must pass each of the following
- Alpine Level 2 Certification
- Cognitive Level 2 Discipline Module Exam
- Visually Impaired Level 2 Discipline Module Exam
- Physical Disabilities Level 2 Discipline Module Exam
- Bi-Ski Level 2 Discipline Module Exam
- Mono-Ski Level 2 Discipline Module Exam
- Members must complete the following online exams for Adaptive Alpine Level 2:
- Adaptive Alpine Level II General Knowledge Online Exam
- Adaptive Alpine Level II Professional Knowledge Exam in the Modules you are attending (Bi-Ski, Mono-Ski, Cognitive, Visually Impaired, Physical Disabilities: 3-Track and 4-Track)
- Members can receive an Adaptive Alpine Level 2 Specialist designation by completing all six of the Level II Adaptive Modules and their Alpine Level 2 MA & Ski Assessment Days
- Members can also move vertically through the Adaptive Alpine process, for example: a member can achieve Adaptive Alpine Level I in a Bi-Ski/Mono-Ski, then attend the Mono-Ski Level II Specialty Module to become Adaptive Alpine Mono-Ski Level 2 Specialist, then pass Alpine Level 2 and then attend the Adaptive Alpine Mono-Ski Level III Specialty Module (without holding Adaptive Alpine Level 2 Certification) to become Adaptive Alpine Mono-Ski Level 3 Specialist
