Area Influencer Description
Job Summary
To help PSIA-Rocky Mountain-AASI market to both members and non-members at their home ski areas. To provide support to the ski areas by knowing and understanding PSIA-AASI policies and helping to spread the word on events happening at their resort, as well as nearby resorts. Engage the membership through fun, creative, and informative social media posts.
Major Responsibilities
- Review basic PSIA-AASI Rocky Mountain FAQ’s to provide information at your home ski area
- Know when and what events are happening at your ski area, as well as nearby areas, and communicate these events to potential candidates
- Post on social media about PSIA-AASI Rocky Mountain. Make sure to tag @psiarmaasi in all posts and include #rmsnowpros and #snowpros in your posts
- Opportunity to participate in Instagram takeovers of the official PSIA-RM-AASI instagram page
- Notify ski school managers of events and deadlines at your ski area
- Help influence and recruit potential new members at your home ski area
Influencer Contest
- We will be having a contest between all influencers, in February we will pick the top 3 influencers based on reach within the organization and social media posts. 1st Place will receive free membership dues for the 2019-20 season as well as a free two-day clinic voucher for the 2019-20 season; 2nd place will receive free membership dues for the 2019-20 season; 3rd place will receive free swag from the division.
Once an Influencer is approved, they will receive a packet of information in the mail with PSIA-AASI Rocky Mountain FAQ’s, stickers, 2018-19 curriculum guide, and the instagram takeover policy.
